Here an XRP P/N 790586 Power Steering adapter, -6AN to 5/8”-18 Inverted Flare Seat, has been modified by another party to remove the designed Inverted Flare Seat Seal and an O-Ring was added to try and make it seal on the Female Port in a power steering rack. This adapter does not have a HEX size large enough to fully cover and contain an O-Ring in the female port. The fluid pressure has pushed the O-Ring out, extruding it, and causing a dangerous power steering fluid leak. XRP does not approve of this modification or use of this adapter with an O-Ring. People say that winning Indy and winning a championship are the two biggest things you can do in drag racing. This may become a new product to go along with the three inch longer standard 72 Series Clamshell body filter. No unscrewing the end caps to get to the element.
