Here an XRP P/N 790586 Power Steering adapter, -6AN to 5/8”-18 Inverted Flare Seat, has been modified by another party to remove the designed Inverted Flare Seat Seal and an O-Ring was added to try and make it seal on the Female Port in a power steering rack. This adapter does not have a HEX size large enough to fully cover and contain an O-Ring in the female port. The fluid pressure has pushed the O-Ring out, extruding it, and causing a dangerous power steering fluid leak. XRP does not approve of this modification or use of this adapter with an O-Ring. People say that winning Indy and winning a championship are the two biggest things you can do in drag racing. I am very grateful for all of the help and hard work of many people that it took for me to accomplish both. Winning Indy makes you feel like you’re standing on top of the world, and it takes the support of many to elevate you to those heights. This may become a new product to go along with the three inch longer standard 72 Series Clamshell body filter. No unscrewing the end caps to get to the element. Probably the most important tool to invest in if you are frequently doing race hose assemblies sells the scissor bracket and circular toothless knife blade that fits most circular hand saws with a right side blade mount. Bracket can be held in a vise as in this video or mounted to a bench. The holding pins are adjustable for different hose sizes and puts a slight arc in the hose to peel the hose away from the blade as the cut is made. This setup is raved about by everyone that gets one
